I realize Jesse Helms has retired, but Audre Lorde's poem to him makes me smile, all the same. I think I would have included at least one "fuckwad" in there... but then again, I'm not a good writer. I have lived in North Carolina for 11 years now, and I still cannot grasp why people kept voting for that fucking putz. And I'm calling him a putz because I'm sure he hates Yiddish.
